Christmas Gifts Guide

When it comes to Christmas Gifts, I always want to it to by something simple, special, and mean something. Something you will actually use, not just to look at for a few days/months and then it goes to the bin! I also try to budget on how many people actually deserve a present from me based on how I can afford. Well, its Christmas at the end of the day. So I suppose everyone would deserve a present from you. Not exactly, if you think about properly. If you are struggling and have to budget then there’s no need to buy a gift for a family member who you have not seen or heard from in the last 11 months or so.

Planning

Planning is very essential when buying your gifts. There are a couple of things you need to decide before you actually start shopping. The last thing you want is to be left broke and start the New Year empty-handed because you have spent all your money on gifts.

Here are a couple of things you need to do

  • Decide how many people you want to gift
  • Find out what each person’s interests are
  • Create a list
  • Set a Budget that you can stick to
  • Shop around your budget price

Questions to Ask yourself when shopping

  • Does He/She needs this?
  • Will he/she like it as much as I do?
  • Will it bring some happiness in his/her life?
  • How will it impact on his/her future?
  • Is this something that can be bought again from shops when they need it?
  • Would I love it if this was given to me?
  • Why am I buying this present for a particular person?
