I GOT A NEW JOB

Yup, I got a new job. I got a job!!! Hey everyone, I hope you are well. I have some exciting news and I’m super excited to share this news with you guys. It’s been a long time coming.  If you guys read my previous post, All About My Dream Job, you’ll understand why I am very excited about this. I will take on the position of a part-time Receptionist for a Solicitor firm. Check me out!!!

Perfect Timing

When I completed my second year in college, I had a plan to get my life sorted and get a job. Due to the fact that Sasha-Ann will be starting Primary School after the summer holidays, there is no other perfect time to start a new job. So I was I stayed focused and then BANG- a miracle happens. So while my daughter starts a new school, I start a new job. It’s just perfect.

I GOT A NEW JOB: How Do I Feel?

I feel very emotional about this because it’s not just a job, it’s my dream job – working in an office environment. My life is about change again and this is a position I have been working hard to achieve. After rejects and rejects, countless unsuccessful letters and letters and years after years – I finally got there. The fact that the job came at the right time, just as before Sasha-Ann starts Primary School, is just like the cherry on top. It feels so good.  In other words, I’m actually nervous, although I’m trying to think positive here.

A Single Working Mum

That’s me now. A single working mum. This is a new lifestyle and I am looking forward to facing all the challenges that are coming. Nothing motivates more than challenges because it’s all about personal development. I’m tired struggling to pay the bills and put food on the table. I really don’t want to go back to square one. I’m gonna work very hard and save more money for the raining days. However, I am not gonna stop there. I’ve still got to a lot of things to do. I honestly can’t believe this is happening. This is just the beginning.
