Life can be what you imagine if you let it. Hello everyone, I hope you are well. In today’s post, I will be sharing why life can be what you imagine if you let it. We are slowly approaching the end of 2020. Many of us are planning for 2021 while we prepare for Christmas. Sadly, for some of us, Christmas will not be the same year. However, I wanted to share this post as a form of hope and to explain why you should never give up.
Life Can Be What You Imagine If You Let It
Life, as you know it today, can change tomorrow and be what you always imagined and wanted it to be. I’m not talking about just dreaming about it, but living the life you want, day in and day out, year after year, until you leave this earth. Your imagination and thought pattern control every aspect of your life, from what you wear daily to whether you marry a particular person. Most people do not realize this and allow their thoughts and imaginations to run wild and wreak havoc on Business, social, and family lives. This chaos takes shape in many facets, such as overeating, drinking, smoking, high-stress levels, drug use, and the list goes on and on.
The Good News
The good news is that we, as individual beings, can use our minds to take complete control and immediately change our circumstances. And situations, by the way, we view the problem at hand. It’s like the saying, “you can view this glass of water as half empty or half full”. How a person views that glass of water is totally up to them because of our ability to think, rationalize, and decide how we perceive or interpret the circumstances at hand. That final decision we make on how we interpret the events will also determine the overall outcome of whatever situation we are dealing with at that present moment.
Is The Glass Half Empty Or Half Full?
So, my friends, you can see how this simple concept of “Is the glass half empty or half full” can significantly impact the outcome of any situation you are dealing with. Changing our view of the circumstances from “I could never do that, too, if I learned I could do that” will ultimately determine what course of action we will take. We make decisions daily with negative outlooks or perceptions, not realizing we limit ourselves and our confidence in our abilities. As we do this over long periods, we train our minds subconsciously to have negative outlooks and perceptions without realizing the mental roadblock we have built up over the years. You can take control as soon as you decide to do so. Now ask yourself, “Is the glass half empty or half full”.
I hope you enjoyed that.

Our perspectives are essential.

I think part of the problem is that people forget some of the best things can come out of the worst situations, if we are open to seeing that opportunity. Instead it is easy to get caught up in the negativity and miss the blessings that are right there in front of us. This year has been crazy for everyone, but a good positive mindset has definitely been the key to making it through such unexpected challenges. I’m excited to see what the new year brings, but also glad that this year happened because of everything I learned about myself.

Such an honest post. I’ve learned to really focus on the positive in all ways that I can and it has made and makes such a difference to my every day life. I feel so much better for seeing the world in a positive light too so it really works for my emotional wellbeing too.

I am imagining a wonderful year ahead of us. And freedom like never before. Freedom from all the negativity of this year. And the sheer magic of happiness. Best to you and your family.

The mind is a powerful thing. Retraining our minds to dwell on the positive things is not easy but worth it for a better outlook.

When life gets rough these simple reminders are needed. I say go for it, dream big, and make your dreams a reality.

I once read somewhere that we were born with our own levels of happiness and that we operate that way in life, mostly on that natural level, unless we do exactly what you said – consciously make an effort to see the glass half full (or half-empty) Yes, the mindset can change, for some people easier than the others. I too believe we can make a choice.

Our mindset is such an important part of creating the life that we want, isn’t it? I think a lot of people overlook the power that they hold to create the life that they have always dreamed of. The second that we open our minds up to this fact, we empower ourselves to start making our dreams a reality!

yes! I totally agree: you can get everything you want and need if you let yourself take chances and feel free about your own desires.

When you’re stuck in any kind of rut, it’s hard to put things into perspective but it really does help to look at the positives in life! Thanks for sharing.
