The path of Happiness. Hello everyone, I hope you are well. In today’s post, I will be sharing the path of Happiness. Happiness is something that so many people strive for each day, and yet many times, it eludes them. They often feel that Happiness can be theirs if only their situations are different. Have you ever felt like that?
So often get caught up in what I call the “if only’s”.
- If only my husband were nicer to me.
- If only the children were grown and out of the house.
The list can go on and on.
The Path Of Happiness
We can waste so much of our precious time dreaming of the “if only’s” So many people fall into this trap and end up miserable most of their lives.
The problem is that they are looking for Happiness to come to them somehow.
As if it were something that we could possess.
When Happiness comes, it seems so fleeting that it quickly passes away.
People erroneously think that Happiness is just a feeling like some passing fancy. I am here to tell you that it is not a feeling; it can be a way of life.
Happiness can be yours daily if you will only follow some basic principles.
- First, you must live in the NOW. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not promised to us, so you must be present now.
- Secondly, you must control your thoughts and those that pass through your mind. Happiness can be called a state of mind, and the way to Happiness is to bring your account into its proper form.
If I live in Texas and want to be in California, I need to change states.
To be in that state, I need to make some changes. In this analogy, we will decide to take a train.
The train must go in the proper direction, and we will arrive at our destination.
We must know which train we are on or end up where we don’t want to be.
Think of this train as your thoughts.
That’s right, your train of thought.
If you don’t want to stay in Texas, you must get on the right train.
If you let any train of thought into your mind, you will be taken to and from and never arrive at your desired destination.
The question then is, how do we get on the right train?
The ticket to getting on the right train is called gratitude.
Gratitude is an attitude, and as we look to all that we have to be thankful for instead of dwelling on our problems, we will find that we can be whisked away to the state we wish to be in.
It’s now or Never
I am going to Nigeria for serval reasons. With the way things are going in the world, it is getting scarier every single day. Every day we wake up to terrible news around the world. I have family and friends over in Nigeria who loves and are excited to see me. I think we all deserve a fresh start after 2020, don’t you? Like a complete change of lifestyle.
I am putting all negative energy behind us and focusing on bringing positive vibes into our lives. Even if the happiest times of your life would be the next five years or so, that is better than nothing. Life is short, guys; life is so short. I want to encourage you to do whatever it takes to be happy because everybody’s path to Happiness is different at the end of the day.
If you take something from this post, remember that there is a path to Happiness, and that path is gratitude.
I hope you enjoyed that.
